  • The friendly young staff were absolute legends and made the evening fun, relaxed, easy and enjoyable! All the food was amazing, I had the Lamb Roganjosh and the meat fell off the bone, was tender, and perfectly juicy. The atmosphere and music were greatly timed and the liveliness of the atmosphere creates a nice warmth and beckons you in. One of my favourite places to go! Recommend very highly if you want amazing well priced eats eats. Super great job Bhang!

  • I went to BHANG, Brunswick with zero expectations and left very, very full and happy We did the “Feed Me” thali (which honestly takes the decision fatigue away ) and every dish felt thoughtfully spiced, comforting, and not rushed. One of those meals where you’re quietly nodding after every bite. But let’s talk about the drinks for a second I tried the Kheera Masala cocktail and wow soo refreshing, herby, slightly spicy, and SO different from the usual sweet cocktails. Perfect balance, especially with Indian flavours. BHANG is one of those places where: the food feels nostalgic but elevated the cocktails surprise you and the vibe makes you want to sit longer than planned If you’re in Melbourne and craving Indian food that’s done a little differently, this one’s worth a visit. • Great place to sit eat, enjoy a drink with family or friends or colleagues. Great Indian Bollywood vibe. Excellent music and very warm servers. They serve you with warmth and a big smile. Food is great. Their paneer and vegetable momos and papaddum with different dips were a great starter. They offer great range of mocktails and the hibiscus one was very nice.

  • Food was dam good, we have a Vegan in our group and he loves this place. The rest of us were visiting from Sydney and Wollongong and we were impressed. Some of the dishes were quite hot so you may have to confirm with the staff on the heat in the dishes. All in all a great birthday meal

  • Good South Asian fusion! My fav was the Kerala friend chicken ($20) and the date tamarind sauce! Also had the chicken Momo’s ($18) yum!! WARNING: that person in your life who can’t handle spice will be dying lol. It was a very filling dish I could not finish on my own! Be mindful of the sauce. General warning for the menu I reckon, you gotta have a seasoned palate. Mock-tails $15: cute but way too $$$ for a 100ml of lemonade with pink syrup. Like the more I think about it the more annoyed I am lol Grilled Tiger Prawns $30: you could’ve been great! Totally over cooked, made what was a really fat and juicy prawn dry sad. Curry was amazing, I can see a really great dish I just didn’t experience that.

  • This is a lovely restaurant! I came here with a friend, and have been back multiple times. Staff are really lovely, and are efficient and quick. The ambience of the place is also really nice, with dim lighting. The food was amazing. I tried the samosa chaat, which was really flavourful and good for its price. The cheesy garlic naan is also really good, filled with flavour and 4 pieces that is really good for value. I also had the Kerala fried chicken which was bite-sized and crispy and not dry, as well as the butter chicken which had spectacular flavour and tender chicken. The last main I had was the Roast pumpkin which was soft and came with a lovely, tangy sauce. For dessert, we had the sticky date chai pudding with ice cream which was the perfect way to finish the dinner. I've also had the Thali from this place, which was perfectly filling and great value. I really recommend coming here, you won't regret it !

  • Came with lilli and piper — and the lovely grace joined the dinner crew! Nothing better than a good curry (other than a curry with good friends). Thanks
